Ross Building Group are husband and wife team Steve and Narelle who have been in the building industry for over 20 years. They provide building and pest inspections in Yeppoon, Rockhampton and surrounding areas.

To keep on top of all their business contacts, client details, and inspection scheduling Narelle and Steve were utilising Spreadsheets, which were cumbersome to keep updated. We guided them towards a CRM package for their needs and in addition implemented Xero and Ezidebit into their business to save time and money.
For a few years they were operating with Spreadsheets, until they had their fill and were seeking an easier way to manage all the business’s data. Main issues were:
- The time consuming nature of spreadsheets
- The need for proper scheduling of current inspections, yearly or follow-up inspections and the detailing of these inspections
- The inability to access all client info and details out of the office, when out in the field or on the road

We provided Ross Building Group with CapsuleCRM to alleviate the stresses of using Spreadsheets on a daily basis. To assist further we rolled over their Spreadsheet data to Capsule. Furthermore Xero and Ezidebit were implemented to streamline bookkeeping processes and assist with better cash flow. Training and support was provided to make the undertaking painless.
How Capsule, Xero and Ezidebit helped
Not only did the implementation of Capsule save them time, it also allows them to set tasks and reminders for upcoming and future inspections. Using Capsule also allows for them to have access to client details and business data out of the office via their smartphones and laptops. Previously, they were using MYOB, but now find Xero more user friendly and cost effective. Combining this with Ezidebit now allows for them to take payments via credit card which essentially aids in better cash flow.
